Mr. Wurtz holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from the University of British Columbia (UBC), a Masters degree in Public Administration from Concordia University in Montreal and a Diploma in Internet Publishing, Multimedia and E-commerce. Dawayne continues to further his education as he is currently enrolled at Langara College taking courses in Server Administration, Programming and PHP.
Dawayne has more than 11 years of experience in designing and developing web sites using advanced skills in HTML hand-coding, DreamWeaver, EditPlus, Home Site, JavaScript, CSS, DHTML, XML, XHTML, Macromedia Flash, Multimedia, E-commerce and Content Management Systems (CMS). His interest and dedication to web design and development is conveyed through his teaching courses in Web Design, Internet Marketing, E-commerce, and Management of an On-line business, Management of a Corporate Web Site, and Strategic Planning and Project Management at Vancouver Career College (VCC).
Mr. Wurtz is also an Information Technology Advisor for Toward Excellence Inc. Toward Excellence is dedicated to enhancing personal and career development, entrepreneurial skills and business development. Dawayne is also on the Board of Directors for the Douglas Park Soccer Club. As a Board, we are responsible for promoting, enhancing, and developing in the City of Vancouver the game of soccer as a recreational as well as a competitive activity.
In addition, Mr. Wurtz has nine (9) years of experience with the Federal government as a Senior Policy and Planning Advisor in the Information Technology sector. As a senior member on the strategic corporate planning and project management team, Dawayne was responsible for ensuring that the policies and planning procedures adhered to the Ministry's legislative and accountability framework. Within the context of the departmental strategic corporate plan, he provided both operational and strategic policy / planning advice to senior management.
Mr. Wurtz was also responsible for liaising with government departments, the Supply Program Management Sector (SPMS), the Comptroller's Branch, the Communications and External Relations Directorate (CERD), the Minister's office, the Treasury Board Secretariat, and industry associations.
Mr. Sato graduated with honours from the Vancouver Film School New Media Program. Fumi has more than 7 years of experience in the graphics, multimedia and web design industry. Fumi manages the creation of DPG's Graphical User Interface (GUI) designs, multimedia projects and Flash animations using a variety of tools including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Image Ready, and Macromedia Flash Animation. He is able to hand-code websites using HTML, XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, DHTML, and PHP as well as creating interactive and dynamic websites using Macromedia Flash, Action Script and Swish. Fumi is also skilled in editing Audio and Video using Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects and Cool Edit. As a result, the team can provide custom services in streaming music and video.
Fumi has excellent skills in interactive scripting languages and graphics packages in particular and is well versed in a wide variety of new media software applications. He is also bilingual in English and Japanese.
Benjamin Koether has a diploma as a System Integration Consultant from Siemens AG in Germany. He has 6 years of experience in dealing with IT-Systems, programming and web development. He is skilled in creating web interfaces using HTML, XHTML, CSS and JavaScript as well as server-side applications using PHP, MySQL and Perl.
Mr. Koether is the lead designer and programmer in the installation and implementation of our Content Management System (CMS). He has further designed, developed and programmed many modules for our CMS that are extremely beneficial to our clients in managing and administering their web sites and ensuring that their web sites are optimized effectively for the various search engines including Google, MSN, and Yahoo. Benjamin moved from Germany to Vancouver in October 2006 and is bilingual in English and German.
Mr. Adnan Rana joins DPG with over 13 years of experience in Enterprise level web application software design and development. Mr. Rana has a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from the National University of Emerging Science in Islamabad Pakistan. He has been extensively involved in management, development, staffing and the provision of technical leadership during his career. He has worked in a variety of Software Design and Development organizations to date.
In addition, he has trained, managed and worked with small to medium size teams in Software Design and Development, Quality Engineering, GUI design and Software Configuration Management (SCM). Mr. Rana has worked with many notable clients such as Nokia, Yahoo, American Steel, Sprint USA, Telus Canada and Ritchie Bros Canada.
Mr. Rashid has almost 20 years of experience in the software development industry and obtained a Diploma in Computer Information Systems in 1989. Aarif has worked with several companies on projects that ranged from consumer through to enterprise level in all aspects of the software development life cycle. His skills include software architecture, management and development with a proficiency in enterprise technologies such as Java, J2SE/J2EE, JSP, Servlets, SOAP, C/C++ and Oracle as well as essential web technologies such as PHP, Ruby, Python, Perl, JavaScript and HTML.
Aarif also has a strong background in Cryptography, Information Security, E-commerce, Biometrics and proven PKI Technologies along with Smartcard Technologies.
Mr. Hemming graduated from Vancouver Career College with a Diploma (with distinction) in Computer Graphic Design in 2006. In creating user friendly and effective navigational web interfaces, he utilizes Adobe Photoshop, Image Ready and Illustrator. In addition, Tim is able to hand-code websites using HTML, XHTML and CSS and compliments this with Macromedia Flash.
In addition to web and graphic design, Tim has an extensive print portfolio covering all aspects of graphic design from logo development and corporate identity to magazine/brochures and branding, using InDesign and Acrobat. Tim takes much of his inspiration from Vancouver, the Pacific Northwest area and his own photography can often be seen in his work.
